At Tutor Corps and Pacific Preparatory, we believe in the power of 1:1 education in order to support students holistically and inspire a love of learning, confidence, and self-advocacy. Our organization comprises three branches: our accredited homeschool Pacific Preparatory, our after-school tutoring program Tutor Corps, and our nonprofit scholarship program through the Tutor Corps Foundation. We strive to inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and abilities and provide exceptional instruction in all K-12 subjects.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated instructors to teach introductory coding to students, including those with learning differences. This online teaching opportunity is aimed at providing students with the foundational skills in coding, offering them the chance to explore the world of programming in an engaging and supportive environment. Preferred availability Monday - Friday 11:30am-12pm Pacific Time.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking thoughtful, dedicated tutors who value creating meaningful relationships with their students. We take a holistic approach to our work, prioritizing social-emotional learning alongside academic achievement.
Instructors who work with us must have:
A minimum of one year of instructional experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, have superb written and verbal communication skills, and can confidently use Zoom and online teaching tools. Teaching credentials are a bonus but not required.
